Our recommendation - Poolwonder Turbo XL or Poolwonder Marvelix

Your details: Large pool and occasional pollution

For large pools, we recommend a model with a movable arm, as cleaning from the outside with a telescopic pole is so much more comfortable and the pool cleaner does not lift off the ground so easily. Basically, both Poolwonder Marvelix and Poolwonder Turbo XL are very suitable for your application.

Poolwonder Marvelix and Turbo XL differ essentially in suction width, running time, weight, suction power, filter size and filter density (see also: Pool vacuum cleaner comparison) Poolwonder Turbo XL is considerably stronger and twice as long-lasting and wide as Poolwonder Marvelix, but at 2.3 kg it also weighs about four times as much as Poolwonder Marvelix. In the case of surface contamination, it takes twice as long to clean with Marvelix as with Turbo XL, and Turbo XL can retain half as many particles in the collection bag as Marvelix. In our experience, however, the 0.1 mm fine filter bags of Marvelix are sufficient for the vast majority of soiling(areas of application of Poolwonder). A 2m starter kit rod is included with Poolwonder Marvelix, while a separate telescopic rod must be used with Turbo XL due to its heavier weight - Turbo XL fits on any commercially available telescopic rod with an inner diameter of 30mm and, of course, on the Poolwonder telescopic rod.
